Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding Abyss Watcher to your Discord server or using any of its commands, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please remove the bot from your server.

These terms apply to all users of the bot, including server owners, administrators, and regular members.

2. Description of Service

Abyss Watcher is a Discord bot that provides economy, gaming, and utility features including but not limited to:

• Economy system (Shadow Essence, trading, market)
• Combat and dungeon systems (hunting, dungeons, boss raids)
• Gambling games (coinflip, slots, blackjack)
• Progression systems (ranks, quests, alchemy, evolution)
• Seasonal events and a player marketplace

The bot is provided free of charge and is operated on a best-effort basis.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse Abyss Watcher in any way, including:

• Attempting to exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended features for personal gain
• Using automation, bots, or scripts to interact with the bot
• Attempting to manipulate the economy or game systems unfairly
• Harassing other users through bot features
• Circumventing cooldowns, limits, or other restrictions
• Using the bot in any way that violates Discord's Terms of Service

4. Virtual Currency & Items

All in-bot currency (Shadow Essence, Monster Souls) and items have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for real money, transferred outside of Discord, or refunded under any circumstances.

We reserve the right to reset, modify, or remove any virtual items or balances at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to abuse, exploits, or service maintenance.

5. Availability & Uptime

We strive to keep Abyss Watcher online and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The bot may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled or unscheduled maintenance
• Discord API outages
• Hosting provider issues
• Updates, bug fixes, or feature changes

We are not liable for any losses (including virtual items or progress) resulting from downtime.

6. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any features of Abyss Watcher at any time. This includes changes to game mechanics, economy values, commands, and these Terms of Service.

Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Abyss Watcher is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the bot for any purpose.

We are not responsible for any damages arising from your use of the bot, including loss of data, virtual items, or any other losses.

8. Governing Terms

These Terms of Service are governed in conjunction with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Users must comply with all of Discord's policies in addition to these terms.
